In 2005, following Michael's transfer within the Public Service the Thompson family picked up stumps and moved to Canberra from Rockhampton in Central Queensland A passionate photography hobby took an eventful turn when in 2010 Michael was asked to photograph his sons rugby team. A fledgling business was born the following year as one team turned into photos for the whole club.
